Shared drains and sewers beyond the boundary usually belong to the water company. In rentals, blockages caused by fair wear or defects sit with the landlord, while blockages clearly caused by misuse can fall to the tenant. We diagnose the cause honestly and put it in writing, which settles most landlord and tenant debates before they start.

Recurring blockages and CCTV surveys

If the same drain blocks twice, something structural is usually going on: root ingress, a collapsed section, a belly in the pipe or decades of scale. Our CCTV survey shows the inside of the pipe on video, locates the fault precisely, and turns guesswork into a fixed quote for a permanent repair. You get the footage and a written report for your records or your insurer.
